The implementation of the national environmental plan for the integrated Refinery-petrochemical complex based on job creation and increased profitability in the city of Isfahan, under the management of Esfahan Petro refining Holding, has been defined. In line with this, Sohravardi Petro refining Company has been established to transform the Isfahan Petro refining complex into a successful refining holding with the highest complexity factor by 1405 (2026), towards sustainable and balanced development. This company operates in two sectors: optimization of distillation tower products and development of value-added products. Based on evaluations and planned activities, the projects undertaken by Sohravardi Petro refining Company will be operational within the next four years. The company has initiated the construction of refinery units, including RHU, RFCC, PRU, PRIME G, LPG MEROX, and HYDROGEN units, and is currently working on units under feasibility study. for sure, Sohravardi Petro refinery is a symbol and representation of a clear vision of the petro refining industry in the country, based on special attention to the environment and energy diplomacy. Its aim is to extract a diverse range of refining and petrochemical products from the country’s oil resources with the highest quality and elevate Iran’s position as a successful regional refining holding with the highest complexity factor by 1405 (2026).
